Mr. Nixon has extensive oil and gas management expertise spanning a career of over 30 years. Prior to founding Midlake, Mr. Nixon owned and operated Cord Oil & Gas Management Limited, a private consulting firm that managed and provided enhancement for distressed asset portfolios and acted as back office for emerging junior oil companies.
In concert with the management company, Mr. Nixon founded In House Software Limited, a private software development company that provided joint interest accounting and land management programs for the petroleum industry. Prior to Cord Oil & Gas Management Limited and In House Software Limited, Mr. Nixon was Vice President of the Turalta group of companies.
Mr. Nixon is a graduate of the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in Business Administration and is a member in good standing of both the Canadian Association of Petroleum Landmen and Alberta Association of Surface Land Agents.
