Midlake Oil & Gas Limited is a privately-held oil and gas exploration company actively engaged in the acquisition and subsequent development of existing hydrocarbon reserves. The Calgary-based company emerged from Cord Oil & Gas Management Limited in December 2004 bringing with it immediate infrastructure and a 20 year history of redeveloping distressed assets and enhancing shareholder value.

Midlake’s strategy for growth is to seek out acquisition opportunities in Western Canada that meet stringent investment criteria. Primary interests include:

• producing properties, shut-ins, under-performing and/or abandoned oil and gas assets
• limited partnerships and receiverships comprised of low-risk assets
• junior operations with limited opportunities for liquidity
